Junior Jake Ward, part of the Morgan football team, has been nominated for WFSB News Channel 3 high school athlete of the week. As a running back, he has 262 yards rushing and 5 rushing touchdowns. When asked about this nomination he explained,”I feel good. It’s a good accomplishment and nice recognition under my belt. The team is off to a great start and it’s a good building block for the rest of the season.”
