On January 2, 2019, the first day back from break, Assistant Principal Christopher Luther started his new position as assistant principal. This means that Science Teacher Terry Bella started his new job at Morgan as a science and biology teacher.

Mr. Bella was a science teacher at Cooperative and Humanities Magnet High School before deciding to transfer to Morgan. He decided to switch due to the shorter travel time, and he has heard great things about the school. At Co-op High School, many teachers had to carry their materials from room to room, and Mr. Bella was one of them.
Mr. Bella grew up in Madison and went to Hand High School. After high school, he went to UConn where he studied science. Mr. Bella decided to become a science teacher because he has always been interested in biology and he likes having control over what he and his classes do.
Mr. Bella lives in Killingworth with his 8-year-old daughter. Outside of school he enjoys spending time with his daughter, hiking, catching snakes, cleaning cars, and maintaining fish tanks.
Mr. Bella’s first impression of Morgan is that the faculty and students are welcoming and friendly.
