This school year The Morgan School is welcoming a few new teachers. One of the new faculty members is math teacher Paige Trusty. Playing volleyball and studying mathematics, Ms. Trusty was very involved at Wilkes University and enjoyed meeting new people. It wasn’t in college that she decided to become a teacher. “I decided when I was in the fifth grade. I wanted to make the same positive difference as my elementary school teacher.” So far this school year Ms. Trusty is enjoying building relationships with her students and getting to know the faculty in The Morgan School.
Ms. Trusty had nothing but nice things to say about her first few weeks of teaching. “Everyone I’ve met is very nice and welcoming. It’s a great working enviorment.”
In her first year of teaching, Ms. Trusty hopes to find her teaching style. “Trial and error,” she says, “I hope to find what works for my students and I.”
