The video above was created by Rachel Spaziano and Kate Gardner, which captures Morgan’s opinion on our STEP program, a three-day freshman orientation. The purpose of the program is to excite and welcome the incoming freshman for the school year. It helps make them more comfortable with their classes, classmates, and teachers. This summer’s STEP was held from Wednesday, August 16th to Friday, August 18th from 9am-12pm each day. Starting that Monday, Husky leaders and assistants began preparing for the class of 2027. Assistants, buddies, and leaders consisted of sophomores, juniors, and seniors. STEP this year was very successful and helped out the freshmen immensely. The video above shows student and staff experiences and memories from this year’s program.

Hi, I’m Rachel Spaziano, and I’m a junior in the Class of 2025! This is my second semester of Journalism, and I am stoked to be back in the PawPrint writing and producing content. I hope to write about new staff members, cover sports events, and create videos exploring Morgan's ideas. I am involved in the Interact Club and participate on two teams here at Morgan, the girls' soccer team and tennis team. I am looking forward to continuing to explore journalism and considering it as a pathway for college and as a career.

Hi! I am Kate Gardner, a sophmore in the Class of 2026! This is my first semester taking Journalism and being involved with the Morgan PawPrint. I am so excited to contribute to the Pawprint, and I’m thrilled to explore journalism. I hope to cover sports events, interview new staff members, and produce content that everyone will enjoy. I am a part of the Morgan Girls Soccer Team and the Morgan Track team. This year I hope to be in multiple clubs, including Spirit Squad, Kindness Club, and Interact.
