High school is seen as a mountain to survive; some see it as a place to thrive. These ten seniors absolutely thrived. Ranking at the top of the Class of 2026, these students have spent the last four years pushing the limits.
Kate Gardner (left)
This years’ valedictorian is Kate Gardner. Gardner will attend the University of Connecticut this fall to major in Molecular and Cell Biology. Gardner plans to try out for the club soccer team there. Here at Morgan, Gardner
was a part of the girls soccer and tennis team. She was also secretary of the Interact Club, Vice President of NHS, a peer tutor at Morgan and Eliot. Gardner created her own club called Raffles for Wishes where she raised money for the Connecticut Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Addy Reed (right)
This years’ salutatorian is Addy Reed. Reed will attend Wesleyan University, majoring in Biology and running cross country and track. Reed was a 12 season athlete at Morgan, playing soccer, basketball, and running outdoor track. She was a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Interact, Kindness Closet, and president of Student Government.

Keagan Bannon-Molthu:
Keagan Bannon-Molthu plans to go to University of Connecticut and focus in pre-med and majoring in allied health sciences. Bannon-Molthu was very involved at ECA (Educational Center for the Arts).
Austin Borkowski:
Austin Borkowski will be attending University of Connecticut to study Molecular & Cell Biology. At Morgan, he shined in musicals, starring as Prince Eric in the most recent musical, The Little Mermaid, and Harry Bright in Mamma Mia. Borkowski was also involved in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Interact, Social Justice Club, Spirit Squad, and STEP.
Lena Flaherty:
Lena Flaherty will be attending the University of Connecticut to major in allied health sciences. Flaherty was a part of the musical, captain of the fencing team, president of the Interact club, and a member of National Honor Society.
Tessa Gebauer:
Tessa Gebauer will attend University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to study economics. She was a captain of the tennis team and singles 1 for all four years. Gebauer is in National, National Tech, and Spanish Honor Society.
Talia Le:
Talie Le will attend Wheaton College Massachusetts. Le was involved in the musical, the American exchange program, and the literary magazine. She received California for her exchange location.
Nathan Levy:
Nathan Levy will be attending the University of Connecticut to major in Nursing and on a pre-physician assistant track, while also minoring in Spanish. Levy plays for the baseball team, is a member of both National and Spanish Honor Society. Levy is former class president and is still a member of Student Government, while he also used to be a part of REACT.
Sophia Serviss:
Sophia Serviss will attend University of New Hampshire and study Marine Biology at the Honors College. Serviss was a member of the musical, Model UN, National Honors Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Literary Magazine.
Rayna Vanderwood:
Rayna Vanderwood will attend Colby College next fall, and hopes to major in Biology, concentrating in neuroscience and the pre-med program. Vanderwood will play for the field hockey team and ice skate at Colby. Here at Morgan, She played field hockey, was president of National Honor Society, a senior editor for our literary magazine, and a member of the art club.
