After multiple postponements of scrimmages and games, the Morgan Girls Field Hockey team had their first game of the 2023 season on September 11th.
Despite the tough fight the team put up against Valley Regional, Morgan suffered an unfortunate loss of 1-6. Since this game, the Morgan Field Hockey team played 7 games. Although they are on a losing streak, the team is working hard to improve. Members of the team also feel that the team has a great relationship and that all the girls are close with one another.
The Morgan Girls Field Hockey team’s next home game is at 3:45 on Tuesday, October 10th, against North Branford. The team is hosting a bake sale and having a pink out during this game. The team will be raising money for Play4TheCure, a sports fundraising program to help treat and cure all cancers.
