Morgan PawPrint Bloopers

Here at the Morgan PawPrint, we are not perfect. We are just learning how to become journalists, so we make mistakes while making videos that slow down the process. These mistakes will allow us to be better prepared for the real world, especially for those of us who want to pursue journalism careers.

Some mistakes that we often make include starting the camera too early, which results in students staring into the camera, waiting for us to tell them when to start. Examples of this are displayed in the following blooper video, when the sounds of crickets are heard.

Journalism students also sometimes forget to explain what the topic of the video is, so students that are being interviews don’t know what to say. Misunderstandings and mistakes like this don’t help us make professional videos, but they do make for funny bloopers. Please enjoy this comical compilation of our mistakes.
