Peer Advocates Get Rewarded

Peer+Advocates+Get+Rewarded

By Kendra Dean|

Do you like helping others? That’s what Peer Advocates is all about! Peer Advocates is a club that focuses on critical teen issues in the community. It also informs and makes resources available to students for these issues.

Morgan Peer Advocates were inducted into the Madison Cares Hall of Fame for their ten years of volunteer service for the  Habitat for Humanity project they hold. Madison Cares is an organization that manages Habitat for Humanity projects for the shoreline.

Habitat for Humanity helps eliminate poverty housing through community builds. Every year Peer Advocates at Morgan participate in building a house for a New Haven family.
