On Thursday, May 16, 2019, the class of 2019 girls softball seniors played their last home game against the Old Saybrook Rams. This year’s team consisted of two seniors: Rebecca Shamp, and Bella Mongillo. Both players played starting varsity since their freshman years with Bella as an outfielder and Rebecca playing multiple infield positions, before ending her career as our catcher.
Although Morgan lost with a score of 10-6, Senior Bella said, “she could not have asked for a better group of girls to celebrate with”.
Rebecca also hit her 100th base hit of her high school career during the game which was a wonderful way to celebrate senior night.
