Lending a helpful hand around Easter

Written by Ashlynn Leka|

From now until March 26th, the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department and Clinton Rotary are collecting supplies to make Easter baskets to give to less fortunate kids. In the Morgan main office there is a collection box. The groups need  small chocolate bunnies, plastic eggs, assorted candy, school snack items, baskets or pails, small stuffed animal or chicks and/or $5 Stop and Shop gift cards to help purchase items.

Their goal is to make somewhere around 500 baskets.  Please consider making donations in the box in the office for this worthy cause.

There are other boxes in the Eliot Main Office, Joel Main Office, Technique Printer, CVFD, the Assessors Office in the Town Hall, Scottish Daves, Ace hardware, Dunkin Donuts in Old Saybrook and, and in front of 170 Glenwood Road in Clinton. Any donations to these boxes is greatly appreciated.

If there are any questions regarding this event or for convenient pickups of donations, you can call the CVFD Easter Bunny hotline at 203-627-1427.
