On April 16th 2024, Morgan Boys Lacrosse played Cromwell and beat them 20-3. This marks the first victory for Morgan Boys Lacrosse. After a difficult schedule to start the year, the Huskies played a great game and proved that their hard work at practice had finally paid off. The Huskies played their best game this year by far. Sophomore Jake Lichak led the team with 6 goals. Senior Captain Nico Cimino, Junior Captain Tyler Farell, Junior Captain Hunter Roth, Senior Casey Corrigan, all scored goals as well as Junior Cole Donelly with his first goal of the season.
With a new head Coach, Connor Page, and a relatively green team composed of many first year varsity players, the Huskies struggled to set their feet in the leaderboards this season. With the huge victory against Cromwell and what will be a competitive game against North Branford on Thursday the 18th, the Morgan Boys Lacrosse team are excited and motivated for the rest of this season.
