Every Wednesday from 2:15 to 3:15, the Spanish Club meets in room A46, World Language teacher Karla Rivadeneira room to do crafts and learn about the different cultures that exist in Morgan. The Spanish Club was created so that people who are studying Spanish and Spanish speakers have time and space to practice the language with other people, so that they can meet each other and do activities that cannot be done during class time.
The club members explained that the idea is very good since it is a very good way to express their qualities, be themselves and connect with other Spanish speakers.
The Spanish Club is a place where the students can be themselves. They can innovate their artistic side or enjoy different activities, such as drawing, learning more about the Spanish language, watching movies like the Flamin Hot movie. This was recently seen in the club, and it is about the creator of Cheetos Flamin Hot.
Students can also do activities that are related to the different holidays or seasons, such as the activity that took place last meeting, which was painting pumpkins.
The Spanish Club plans to participate in the multicultural night that will take place on Thursday, November 30 at the Lower Hub. If you would like to help, send an email to Spanish teacher Laura Luther
