Letting Go Of Favorite Traditions

Spirit Week Pink Out
Spirit Week Pink Out

With the end of senior year just a few short weeks away, many seniors are reminiscing about the memories they have had throughout these four years in high school. Some of the best high school memories come from playing sports games with your best friends, getting ready for a school dance, and senior activities such as assassins. Some moments are bittersweet for seniors. Senior Kaydence Koloskie Phelps explained, “My favorite tradition is homecoming spirit week and dressing up with your person.” Senior Megan Wyatt also explained her favorite high school tradition has been spirit weeks. Senior and foreign exchange student, Magdalena Lagos, explains her favorite tradition has been spirit week. Magdalena lives in Chile where they do not experience spirit week.

Senior Muntara Singh shares, “I am going to miss fencing bus rides.” Similarly, senior Rory Smith said, “Going to Mcdonalds after wrestling matches.” Senior Caeley Ayer said, “We didn’t do it this year, but my favorite tradition is when we would write on our stomachs for the football games and stand in the front row.” Senior Katie Martin said, “My favorite memory is wearing all pink during the month of October during soccer season for breast cancer awareness.” Many memories come from sports teams here at Morgan. As we end the school year, many of us look back on these memories, and will continue to in the future. Enjoy the pictures attatched to this post.
