Swoosh For Change game, 2018

One of Morgan’s most popular fundraisers, Swoosh For Change, is back. Swoosh For Change is a student versus staff basketball game hosted in order to raise money. This year’s game will be hosted in The Morgan School Gym on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 6 PM. The doors open at 5:30 PM. The Morgan Rock Band will also be performing at half-time.
This year, 100% of the proceeds from the game will be donated to the Connecticut Mental Health Foundation. This organization has helped the Morgan community so much in the past few years.
Each team, both students, and staff, will have around twenty players. The staff team will be coached by seniors, Drew Nye, and Alex Fratamico. The staff team consists of Jared Stevens, Adam Hubley, and Mike Hogle, from Eliot, as well as Chad Neri, Jordan Bean, Brain Gendron, Robert Cullen, Eric Carroll, Pete Gersz, Kate Iverson, Jessica Lynch, Casey Metz, and Ally Holmes from Morgan, and Ryan Florentine from Joel. The students team will be coached by seniors Connor Duffy, and Brady Fritz. The student team consists of seniors, Garrett Garbinski, Justin Tunney, Tyler Greenhouse, Ethan Madura, Matt Hynek, Bailey Goss, Cole Hornyak, Aidan Madura, Jacob Bardinelli, Mike Sacta, Nick Schmidt, Ethan Ranuado, Dante DiGianni, Julia Walker, Connor Loth, and Dom Cacopardo. The student team also includes three underclassmen, junior, Ryan Luciani, and freshmen, Alyssa Ruthstrom, and Destiny Rehberg.
