I was interested in this topic because I’m Latina. In my project, I researched the main factor of discrimination against Latinos. I discovered that the language is the key factor because it is difficult for Latinos to communicate with Americans if they cannot speak English or because their accent instantly identifies them as someone who speaks English as a second language. Americans can make Latinos feel inferior because of the language barrier.
