On Monday, November 16Physics Trip 1th the AP and College Prep physics classes went on a field trip to Southern Connecticut State University. Physics teacher Abby Walston led the trip.  Students attended a program about space exploration.

The program included two speakers. The speakers talked about the Kepler Mission and the search for Earth-like planets hospitable to life and about the possibility of colonizing Mars.

The Kepler Mission is a NASA mission that is dedicated to searching for habitable and Earth-like planets, planets that are from half to twice the size of Earth in the Milky Way galaxy. The program also answered questions regarding colonizing Mars and possibility of life on Mars.
