If you have never read a book by Kristan Higgins, I suggest you do. Maybe it is because I love genre fiction but from the two books so far that I have read, Somebody to Love and Catch of the Day, let me just say that I am hooked! Her writing is quirky, cute, and funny, and geared towards women. Meeting her was the complete icing on the cake because from working at R.J. Julia’s I have met authors whose personality did not match the tone of the book. Kristan Higgins however, completely matched the person that I thought would author these wonderful books. Not only was she polite but her presentation was also

informative, real, and she was quite funny. All in all it was a pleasure to meet Kristan Higgins and to hear her presentation. She is a wonderful person and is a beautiful author!
