On Tuesday April 14th English teacher Julie Frydenborg’s Freshman Honors classes combined to create a mock trial for the first part of the play in The Oresteia, The Agamemnon. E period took on the role as the prosecution and wild card characters, while C period played the defense and newly added character Iphogenia. Freshman Wyatt Reu said ” I liked being in the trial because it helped me get a better understanding of the play.” The trial consisted of putting Clytemnestra and Aegisthus on trial for the murders of Agamemnon and Cassandra. In the trial, the jury consisted of former students from Ms. Frydenborg’s Freshman Honors Classes.
