Casey wants to win a state championship as a head coach. He previously won a state championship as a player and an Ivy League championship as a coach at Yale. He says these are moments he will never forget, and he wants to make these memories and moments for the players he coaches at Morgan.
This head coaching opportunity worked out well geographically for Casey. It is only 30 minutes from his work and home. This has been the opportunity that he has been waiting for to be a head coach. He played against Morgan when he was younger and he thinks this is a great start for his head coaching career.
Casey says that he has always been influenced by his dad. His dad, Alex Trassco, is his biggest role model. He has followed his dad’s footsteps into coaching. According to newstimesports.com, Alex Trassco has coached at Hillhouse, Hyde, East Haven, and Wilbur Cross High School. He has also coached at Western Connecticut and Southern Connecticut. He was part of state championship teams at Hyde and Wilbur Cross. Alex Trascco teaches architectural design and construction systems at Holy Cross High School.
Casey grew up on the football field alongside his father and there they built an amazing connection. Casey remembers growing up going to Giants training camps together and being around big names like Eli Manning and Chris Cambell.

Casey Trasacco said, “I want to play competitive football and be competitive with the good teams and take care of business. As long as we are playing sound football, being competitive, working hard, and playing hard, I will be very happy.”
Trascco has high hopes for the Morgan program. “My goal is to grow our program,” said Trascco, “and if kids want to play college sports then I want to help guide the kids into college athletics. I want to give these kids the best possible path I can do so.”
Although the Morgan football program currently only has a varsity and JV team, Eventually Trascco hopes to build the program so it can get all three levels: freshman team, junior- varsity, team,
and varsity.
Casey Trasacco wants us to grow up and be the best versions of ourselves we can be. He believes he can change this program and bring a culture to this school that will last forever.
