On Tuesday, October 15, 2013 The Morgan National Honor Society hosted its first blood drive of the year. NHS would like to personally thank all of the businesses for the generous donations! Altogether, a total of thirty pints of blood was collected. The blood was shipped to Farmington, CT that day to be tested. There is a shortage of blood, and all the people who donated saved up to three lives each. Thank you to all Morgan students for taking time out of their day to help save lives! This wonderful service opportunity will be coming back to Morgan in May.
Below is a video of the Blood Drive:

It sounds like it went really well. It’s great that Morgan students are willing to give their time to help other people.

This was my first time ever donating blood and having friends there WITH FOOD made it seem like a party. It was so successful, especially since Colleen visited and shared her story with us. Good slideshow!!!!
