On Friday, October 18th, our Morgan Girls Soccer team played Portland. The Huskies played and fought hard against the Highlanders. The score was tied zero to zero by the end of the game. The Morgan soccer team’s record is now 6-5-3.
Although no goals were scored during this game, it was still an amazing fight shown by both teams. Our Huskies had an outstanding game, demonstrating their athletic abilities and skills to the crowd.
The Morgan student section cheered loudly for the girls, showing their pride and support.
Students and parents also enjoyed a lovely bake sale. The donations will be given to breast cancer research and awareness.
The bake sale had delicious pink cupcakes topped with pink frosting, cookies, brownies, chocolates, and strawberry frosted donuts.
The soccer team has two games left.
Their next game is on Thursday, October 24th, in HK at 3:45 pm
Their senior night and their last regular-season game is on Wednesday, October 30th, at 5pm on the Turf Field
