May 10, 2019, was the Morgan girls lacrosse senior night. Senior night honors the senior players on the last home game of the season. The four seniors being honored were Joelle Vuilleumier (3), Olivia McCray (4), Grace Roman (6), and Erin Lindsay (36).
The game ended 9-19 with Old Saybrook victorious. Although the girls lost, they played hard and had fun.
The team qualified for States for the first time since 2016 – the seniors’ freshmen year. For Shorelines, Morgan’s in conference record was the same as Valley’s. Therefore, to determine who will compete in Shorelines, a coin was tossed. Morgan won. Go cheer Morgan on Tuesday, May 21st at 4pm at North Branford.
