Kidz Konnection, a non-profit youth-based theater group, will perform the play Newsies on Friday, March 8th at 7pm, Saturday, March 9th at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday, March 10th at 2pm. Performers from ages 5 to 19 perform in this play based on the real-life newsboy strike in 1899 in New York City. Kidz Konnection has a handful of Morgan students participating. Some of the cast members include sophomores Dylan Ayer and Sarah Gaetano, Freshmen Kate Robinson, Skyler Lane, and William Curry.
Kidz Konnection director, Laura Attanasio and the actors will bring this Disney Musical to life at the Andrews Memorial Theater for $18 for adults and $15 for children 3-12 and seniors 65 and over.
