On Tuesday, November 13th, Morgan hosted the annual 8th-grade open house.

During this event, next year’s incoming class of 2023 and their parents participated in tours, break-out sessions with panels and, presentations from Husky Leadership students to get a feel about Morgan.

After a warm welcoming statement from Principal Keri Hagness, the students and parents were sent off to rooms with Husky Leadership students. The Morgan students introduced themselves and shared with the incoming students what activities, clubs, and sports Morgan has to offer.

The students and parents who attended this event got a student-led tour of Morgan. During the time of the tours, there was food provided in the cooking room to show a small bit of what opportunities Morgan electives provide.

This year the break out sessions that took place from 7-8 in the cafe and the auditorium included panels of students or staff.

In the auditorium, there was a panel that consisted of the instructional leaders for each department

In the cafe, there were a Husky Leadership class 1 and 2 panels that shared their experiences at Morgan.

Morgan is excited to continue to work with the incoming of class of 2023 and give them a warm welcome into high school!
