Morgan Football had a rough season last year. How do the players feel after their first few games of 2018? Freshman Drew Nye predicts them finishing with at least 5 wins after starting off with a 0-3 record. Senior Deven Talarczyk plans for them to win the rest of their 7 games this year and have a turnaround season. Junior Liam Whelan said that after the tough start they feel like they are finally coming together as a team. He believes they will win the rest of their games.
Morgan Football pulls in the most fans out of any team here at Morgan, but how do they feel about this support system? Senior Bryce Thomas feels that the fans don’t have enough energy throughout the game and that the student section needs to come up with more cheers to keep the energy going for the players and the people in attendance.
Morgan Football is hungrier than ever, they won their first game in 2 years by defeating North Branford on Saturday, 35-32. The team has a bye week this week and takes on HK on Friday the 12th. Next time you are at a game make some noise and cheer on your Huskies!
