Every year the Morgan students put on an amazing performance in the spring. This year the musical is She Loves Me. Performances are from March 15 until March 18th at The Morgan School. The musical revolves around Budapest shop employees Goerge Nowak and Amelia Balash who have a difficult working relationship. Each of these characters has a secret pen pal through a lonely-hearts ad. They are unaware that they are each other’s secret pen pal. Senior Stephen Zumpano says, “I really like the musical because it’s funny and the songs are very catchy.”
The cast is very excited to put on yet another play. All of the seniors that are in the play have been in it all 4 years of high school. Senior Samantha Mena says, “I am very upset it’s the last show I’ll do at Morgan and with the other seniors.” There are also many talented underclassmen that are stepping up for the big roles. Freshman Emma Lindsay is the main role alongside with Brett Martin. “I have great people to work with so I know that opening night will be great,” claims Emma Lindsay.
Not only does Music teacher John Lampe, the director of the play, work extremely hard, but each and every member of the play work hours upon hours into their rehearsal to perfect their play.
