On November 15th, the Morgan Chorus performed their Fall Chorus Concert. The chorus performed as well as a select chorus. Music Teacher John Lampe leads both choruses. The students sang many different songs and some even incorporated choreography to match the lyrics they were singing.
Many students chose chorus as their elective because they enjoy being able to express themselves through song. Sophomore Alyssa Guthrie, who is enrolled in the chorus, said that it is an “extracurricular activity that helps kids be able to be open and use their voices without judgment.” Many chorus students feel as if there is no judgment when they enter Mr. Lampe’s room.
Sophomore Emma Blair said that she loves “seeing people united” through the chorus. Many people love that the chorus is open with one another because they all have one common interest- music.
The Fall chorus concert was an excellent way for chorus students to show off their talent to parents and students. If you want to come see the talent that Morgan’s chorus has, come to the spring concert.
