On Tuesday, November 28th, The Morgan School will be open to the incoming freshmen from 6:30 to 8:00. Eighth graders that are becoming freshman are typically nervous and anxious about entering high school for the next four years. This open house is designed to help the eighth graders become accustomed to this big change.
During the open house, parents of these eighth graders and the students will get a general overview of The Morgan School. Principal Keri Hagness explained that eighth-graders will “meet with students who will provide their own experience.” She would like it to feel almost like a college campus tour but led by Morgan School students. The students and parents will also visit the Morgan food court where students representing different activities and opportunities will be available to share information with parents and students.
Eighth graders will be able to know more about their high school opportunities before they begin their freshman year. Parents of eighth graders will also have the chance to be more familiar with the new school. All eighth graders and parents are encouraged to come, Tuesday, November 28th from 6:30-8:00pm
