The end of the school year is the best time for club events, with the warm weather and excitement for summer which results in lots of participation. The upcoming events consist of:
- Blood Drive on Wednesday, May 24th
- The blood drive starts at 7:30 am and ends at 1 pm
- The drive will be taken place in the gym
- Requirement of having a picture ID, must be 17 or older and hydrate prior to the drive
- Senior Award Assembly on Thursday, May 25th
- The senior assembly will start at 6pm
- The ceremony will take place in the auditorium
- Underclassmen Award Assembly on Friday, May 26th
- The underclassmen assembly starts are 12:50 pm and will go until the end of the school day
- The assembly will take place in the auditorium
- Superhero Day on Friday, May 26th
- This Friday wear your favorite superhero gear
- Any donations made will be given to Camp Rising Sun (CRS)
- Environmental Art Show on Saturday, May 27th
- The art show will be held at 12pm until 2pm
- It will be located at the Henry Carter Hull Library
- Project Purple’s “Color Run/Walk” on Sunday, June 4th
- The run starts at 1pm and is a non-timed event
- Registration begins at 12-noon
- The race will start at Morgan High School and will run a loop to end at the high school
- The race begins at the Morgan High School (71 Killingworth Turnpike in Clinton)
- There is a $25 pre-registration fee and a $30 same-day registration fee
- Cold-Blooded Creatures Show on Thursday, June 8th
- This is the fourth annual reptile show run by AP Biology and Biology teacher, Christopher Luther
- The show is open to the public starting at 5:30 until 6:15
- Admission is free however, it is suggested to bring canned foods for the Clinton Food Pantry
- The show will feature interactive encounters with reptiles and an informative video
- Morgan’s Interact Beach Bash on Saturday, June 10th
- The Beach Bash starts at 6pm and will end at 10 pm
- It will be held at the Clinton Town Beach
- There is a $10 admission fee
- All proceeds will be going to Education for Women in Nepal
- There will be food, a DJ, and a volleyball tournament with some games
