The girls’ basketball team is hosting a “pink game” on January 28th for breast cancer research. The proceeds will support transportation costs for Clinton residents dealing with cancer.
“We are selling shirts and socks to raise the money for the cause; it’s a really good cause and I think everyone should be a part of it,” says freshman Chelsea Pacheco. All of the girls agree that this is something worth your time. Without purchases, the patients would not get money. Riley Smith says, “We need everyone’s support. It’s for a great cause, and I hope everybody contributes.”
In the meantime, the players will be taking orders for t-shirts and socks. For the t-shirts, they are emblazoned with a large pink breast cancer ribbon and a basketball with the phrase Shoot for a Cure, Morgan Huskies Basketball 2013. To order, see Mr. Grippo in room 64 or any of the players by January 15th.
The basketball game will be held January 28th.
Come support the girls’ basketball team and breast cancer!
