Unfortunately, it ended Monday with an 8-2 loss to Coginchaug. Coginchaug came out swinging, hitting more than a few extra base hits and a home run to top it off. Even though it ended on a negative note the Huskies had many accolades f; coach Sal Fiorillo won coach of the year, and Lauren Fitzgerald, senior, won All-State. Next year the girls hope to make another run and challenge the state for the championship.
