This year is the 20th annual Toys for Tots manufacturing run! Mr. Cole’s Creative Woodworking class works every year to design and produce 300 toys for children in our community. They made a dump truck this year and worked diligently during the first semester of this school year to make a full production run for the toys. Students gain a ton of experience in woodshop; they learn to use every tool in the shop, and they build skills in collaboration, planning, and production as a team. The manufacturing class taught by Mr. Enoch also produces designs for the trucks by creating logos, and insignias for the toys. Mr. Cole gives an amazing gift to the children and families of our community every year with this project, so please go down to the wood shop, and thank him for the experience he creates for our community!
