A team that is overlooked all the time in the Morgan School may be the best spring team this year. With three solid players that have led the team the entire year they look to close out the season strong to finish in the top of the shoreline. Frank Rivas, junior, says their strength to this point has been “experience at our home course, and strong team chemistry.” With these two factors as catalysts, Frank looks to continue the good morale throughout the team. With a 9-4-2 record putting them on the top of the standings at the moment. With solid performances being put in by Maxx Bugg, Gabe Van Ness and Frank Rivas, they should be able to stay on top for the last four matches of the season. With a key win against Portland, a tough opponent, the team received a key boost in their confidence. Morgan looks to be a force going into the state tournament and doesn’t want to slow up at all as the season comes to a close.
