This year at The Morgan School all of our advisories are partaking in the Morgan Advisory Holiday Door Decorating Contest. Every single advisory in the school will “deck the doors” with holiday spirit and cheer. Those who participate are encouraged to choose one of the themes below. Students had some positive words about the door decorating: “We already started decorating. It is a very neat process so far,” said junior Dan Green. “Mr. Graham is already starting with his Frosty the Snowman theme,” explained sophomore Sam Moran. “I am also really excited to see all the new doors and themes going around the school.”
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- Frozen
- A Charlie Brown Christmas
- Elf
- Polar Express
- A Christmas Carol
- Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer
- I Wanna Hippopotamus for Christmas
- Let it Snow
- Baby it’s Cold Outside
- Frosty the Snowman
- Do You Want to Build a Snowman
- Jingle Bell Rock
- Christmas Vacation
- Home Alone
- A Christmas Story
- Marshmallow World
To be eligible to win this challenge, advisory doors must be covered by Dec. 16th, and participants may bring items from home or create their own decorations to use; remember this activity is all about being creative without incurring unnecessary expenses. Decorated doors will be evaluated on three criteria: theme, creativity, and craftsmanship.
