    Girls and Boys Soccer Takes Shoreline Championship Titles

    Written By Ashlynn leka | All Photos were taken by Kim Inglis | On Saturday, November 3rd,  The Morgan Girls Soccer Team won the Shoreline Conference Championship. Hours later The Morgan School Boys Soccer Team won the Shoreline Conference Championship. The girls won against Cromwell 2-1. The boys won against HK 3-0 This is the first time since 2003 that the girls have won the Shoreline Champion Title.
    Last year boys soccer won a co-championship for Shorelines with HK with a score of 1-1 with a 15 minute overtime session.

    States updates

    Girls-

    On Monday, November 5th the girls won the first round of the Class M  tournament against Waterford with a score of 2-0 On Tuesday,  November 7th they played North Branford and won with a score of 2-1 On Friday, November 9th they against Nonnewaug and won with a score of 3-0 On Monday, November 12th the team lost Monday’s playoff game against Lewis Mills in a shootout after a score of 3-3.

    Boys-

    On Thursday, November 9th they won their game against Holy Cross 5-0 On Saturday, November 10th they played against Canton and won with a score of 3-1 The boys will play Notre-Dame on Wednesday, November 14th.
