    Morgan Students Win Shoreline Writing Contest

    On Thursday May 19, senior Kate Mozzochi and junior Julia Horan were awarded prizes at the Shoreline Writing Contest reception. They were encouraged to enter the contest by English teacher Paul Serenbetz.

    Julia’s writing piece was an analysis on Macbeth titled “Seed of Evil”. She wrote this essay in Sophomore Honors English. She won first place for the 9-10th grade Literary Analysis category.

    Kate’s piece was an analysis on Death of A Salesmen titled “Breaking Free”.  She wrote the essay in Humanities. She won third place in the 11-12 Literary Analysis category.  Congratulations to Kate and Julia.
