“The  Clinton PTA started the program because we knew we had a lot of talented students in our district.  We see this as an opportunity for students to ‘show what they’ve got’.”- Mrs. Phelps explained, “The only category that Morgan students participated in last year was Literature – First place, Eli Phelps (a junior last year); Second and third place went to Chad Paradis and Katelyn Long, respectively (both were seniors last year).  In addition, Eli Phelps took third place at the state level, which is terrific considering last year was the first year Morgan participated in the contest.”

If you know you have talent and would like to enter, then sign up and start working on your piece! Friday, November 22nd will be here soon!

I think this article was really interesting. Its great that the school is recognizing students’ talents and giving possible otherwise quiet students a chance to be rewarded.
