Ahavah is a Christmas production put on by the Christian Academy of Dance and Living Rock Church. It is the story of Jesus from birth through resurrection seen through the eyes of a young girl who learns the true meaning of Christmas. The show is mostly a ballet, but it doesn’t feel like it. There is gymnastics, ballroom, and modern as well. This will be the fifth year that Ahavah is at Morgan. It has been getting bigger and better each year. Ahavah is this weekend only! The shows are at 2pm and 7pm on Saturday Dec. 1st and 4pm on Sunday Dec. 2nd. Tickets are only $15 and the show is amazing. Visit http://www.theahavahstory.com/ to learn more about Ahavah, the cast, and the story. There is an awesome promo video on the site under the Story section that will definitely draw your interest more than any words I can put here.
I (David Chittenden) am a dancer in Ahavah too. I play several roles, those being a Gentile, an Angel, Zechariah, and Herod. If you’re in any of Miss White’s classes you should definitely come to see her show off some ballroom and acting skills.
Ahavah is awesome, and you will not regret coming out this weekend to the Morgan auditorium to see some awesome dancing tell the greatest story ever told.
