For most teams, following the previous 7 and 13 season is usually not easy except it is fuel for the Morgan Boy’s Baseball Team . The boys have numerous returning players and look forward to having a great year. Three key juniors: Ronnie Buchetto, Tim Neri and me, Ryan Donovan return to fill the starting pitching roles left by seniors: Zak Repsher and Brandon McDowell. We all know our roles. The amount of work we put in is crucial. Our two captains this year are returning varsity seniors, Adam Guerra and Stefan Dicrosta. When Adam was asked about his expectations for the team, he said, “I expect to have a better year than last year, with an appearance in states and shorelines.” In his mind, some of our biggest strengths are pitching and defense. “We need the guys to pitch well and the batters are going to be weak so our defense has to be strong, but pitching for sure. It’s always about pitching.” With strong pitchers and the leadership of Adam and Stefan, Morgan looks to have a stellar baseball season.
